Rentangle.com FAQ
General Questions
  • » Why don't the listings have street numbers?
  • The actual address of the listing is kept confidential, but you can contact the landlord for more information.
  • » Why do some listings have red borders?
  • These listings are featured listings. For an additional price, advertisers can opt to feature their listing, which gives it the red border, and places it at the top of search and browse results.
  • » Why do some functions not work, or something look odd?
  • While we make every effort to make sure that Rentangle.com works in every browser, sometimes there are issues. The best idea overall (and not just for Rentangle.com) is to use FireFox.
  • » Why do some listings not have maps, and not show up on search maps?
  • This is due to the fact that some addresses cannot be automatically geocoded, and thus can't be drawn on a map. Also, listers have the option to disable mapping for their listings, which will prevent those listings from being shown on any maps.
  • » Can I use the maps to look for other items in the area?
  • Yes! Simply type a search phrase into the search box at the bottom left of the map, and click search. The map will then show nearby locations that match your search. Common searches are 'restaurants', 'laundromats', and 'schools'.
  • » How do I place a deposit?
  • Rentangle.com doesn't take any money for rentals, nor act as a broker for rentals. All negotiations, leases, and agreements are handled by the landlord listing the rental. To contact a landlord, either call the contact phone number on the listing, or click "Email this advertiser" link on the listing to send an email to that landlord.
